This article is a review of a book of Ju.G. Volkov “Creativity: creativity against imitation”. Reviewed by a detailed analysis of the work of Ju.G. Volkov and comes to the conclusion that the latter is not simply deal with problems of origin and formation of the creative class in Russia, but also invites readers to “collective thinking about the fate of the Russian people and the state”.
