Основной (нормативный) тип семьи - супружеская пара с детьми. Только такие семьи могут обеспечить выживание населения. Периферийные типы семьи (бездетные пары, семьи с одним родителем) имеют неполный комплект семейных связей, ролей и функций. Но это все-таки семьи, которые могут стать нормативными, если у бездетных супругов родятся дети или одинокая мать выйдет замуж. Однополые пары не могут пройти такой переход и выполнять все функции семьи. Это новое явление, для которого требуется новое название, отличное от слов “брак” и “семья”.
The basic (standard) type of family - a married couple with children. Only such families can ensure the survival of the population. Peripheral types of families (childless couples, one parent families) are incomplete set of family links, roles and functions. But it’s still a family which can become standard, if childless spouses born children or a single mother get married. Same-sex couples can’t go through this transition and to perform all the functions of the family. This is a new phenomenon that requires a new name that is different from the words of the “marriage” and “family”.
